How Margot Robbie fibbed to her family about her racy sex scenes with Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf Of Wall Street

I flat out lied about the nudity: How Margot Robbie fibbed to her family about her racy sex scenes with Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf Of Wall Street

She is set to steam up the movie screens when she goes completely nude in racy sex scenes alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in her new film, The Wolf Of Wall Street.
But several people in the audience who may be in for a shock are Margot Robbie's family members.
In a new interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday night, the blonde Australian beauty admitted that she lied to her family about the extent of the X-Rated scenes.

'That (the nudity) was a small point of contention with the family,' she explained to Kimmel.
'Ironically enough, I flat out lied to my family for a really long time. I said, "I don't care what you hear, there is no nudity. I am not doing any nudity. Ignore everything anyone is saying. There is no nudity."'
Margot said that as time went by the lie evolved into an even more elaborate tale.

'Then I thought "Well the movie is going to come out and they are going to see that there is nudity". So I changed that and the lie evolved to "Well actually there is a body double and they CGI'ed my head onto someone else,"' she explained with a laugh.
'My family don't have anything to do with the entertainment industry so they totally bought it and they were like "They can do that?!"'
'And I was like "Oh, technology these days... you wouldn't believe what they do in Hollywood."'

'Eventually I came clean and I was like "OK, I am doing nudity, but you should read the book first and if you still want to see the movie after reading the book...'
'I am hoping that I am going to be home (in Australia) when it comes out and I can fly the coop so I can miss the aftermath, because I am not sure how it is going to go down.'
Margot is also unsure about how the film will be received in the small country town where she grew up - Dolby, Queensland.

'I don't know if Dolby is going to approve of this movie, but I am going to follow this up with another one that is appeasing to a country town,' she explained.
However, the actress says that the community there are probably more interested in the new Big W store rather than her burgeoning acting career.
'When I go back to Dolby, everyone's like "What's been happening with you?" And I am like, "Well, I did a movie. What's happening out here?"'

'And they're like "We are getting a Big W!" For two years all the town talked about is Big W and then Big W came and all everyone talked about was how good it was!
'Everyone is so sweet there though, and whenever I get in the papers or anything everyone passes it around at bridge club and puts it on the fridge.'
Meanwhile, Margot also revealed the moment she once ate a whopping 1.8kgs (4lbs) of spaghetti bolognese during an eating competition with a male crew member on the set of her former Australian TV series, Neighbours.
'It was measured to the noodle. That's a bucket! I beat him by 500gms,' she exclaimed.

'They then called me back to set and I was on the ground and couldn't move. They were like "You've got to get back to set" and I was like "I can't, I can't."'
She then told how a nurse was forced to give her medicine to make her vomit the spaghetti up, and how she proceeded to 'projectile spew' the 1.9kgs of pasta up.
While promoting her new film, Margot has gushed that co-star DiCaprio has always been her favourite actor and was thrilled to work with him and director Martin Scorsese.

And the actress's good fortune isn't changing anytime soon, for Margot has just wrapped up filming a romantic comedy alongside Will Smith.
She is also about to start shooting a crime, drama alongside film legend Ray Liotta early this year.
The Wolf Of Wall Street has been nominated for two Golden Globes in the Best Motion Picture - Musical Or Comedy and Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy categories.
